Handbuilding & Wheelthrowing Long Course
An ongoing 3-month weekly program designed to develop pottery skills and techniques in depth. Each month includes the complete process of shaping, trimming, and glazing.
To learn more skills, you can reapply and learn advanced skills.
- Workshop Details: 12 workshops over 12 weeks covering basic shapes and pottery skills.
- Workshops 1–4: Handbuilding pinch pot & Wheelthrowing cylinders
- Workshops 5–8: Handbuilding coils & Wheelthrowing plates
- Workshops 9–12: Handbuilding slab & Wheelthrowing bowls
- Duration per session: 3 hrs
- Age: Adults (16+)

Fokhara Studio – Terms & Conditions
General Policies
- Fees are non-refundable.
- A deposit is required and must be paid up to 3 days before the course starts to secure your spot.
- Arrival delays are allowed up to 15 minutes only.
- Group classes require a minimum of 2 students; if fewer, the class is automatically cancelled.
- In case of full booking, your reservation will be rescheduled to the nearest available date.
- Any official updates will be announced on Instagram: @FokharaStudio.
Attendance & Cancellations
- Students are allowed one class cancellation per month. Any additional cancellations will be counted as attended.
- A session may be cancelled up to 24 hours before class; otherwise, it will be counted.
Studio Conduct
- All stations must be cleaned within the workshop period.
- Aprons & tools should be returned to their designated areas after use.
- Wash clay tools and hands only in the “Kitchen” area for proper drainage.
- Respect the studio space and shared materials.
Pottery Pieces & Firing
- Firing of pottery pieces is done according to the studio’s kiln schedule.
- Cracked, broken, or unstable pots will not be fired for safety reasons.
- Glazed pots must be cleaned wherever glaze touches the base or areas in contact with the kiln.
- Extra firing charges apply for oversized pots.
- Extra clay may be purchased from the studio. Students must bring their own bucket for reclaiming excess clay.
- Finished pots must be stored in the designated area.
- Participants must collect their ready pots in their own box or bag.
- Pots not collected within 1 month will be disposed of to free storage space.
